PPH华文部成立于2004年。最初，来自英文聚会的5对夫妇是早期开始华文部的领袖和先锋。那时教会意识到，神将许多讲中文的群体带到我们当中，所以我们有责任关怀这些群体， 他们其中有：

1. 本地的长者，包括德曼花园社区的居民和我们会友的父母，
2. 来新加坡就读或工作的中国籍人士 – 当中有护士学生、陪读学生的家长、国大（NUS）学生、毕业生和研究生
3. 新移民家庭，最终在新加坡定居。

PPH华文部逐渐扩展至今，会众也由不同背景和文化的年轻家庭、在职成人和年长人士组成。

PPH教会非常重视家庭和婚姻的建设，竭力栽培敬虔的下一代，也积极追求在生活中的各个层面效法和顺服基督的教导。PPH华文部鼓励会友们定期参加小组聚会，加入常规的祷告小组，并积极参与各种事工的服事，如音乐事工、招待事工、探访事工、社区外展和海外宣教等。

我们也寻求能同心同行,在个人布道、社区外展及列国宣教的服事中,为主耶稣显出爱神和爱人的合一。每年，我们有各样的外展活动和平台，如启发课程、新春佳节、复活节、中秋节和圣诞节，来鼓励和推动会友积极参与服事和传福音。

教会的社区外展主要是通过社区服务或社区关怀牧养（CAPing）的方式，在德曼花园大牌44座的关怀中心和大牌50座的学生托管中心来携手进行。每周天或在各类外展活动期间， 我们都提供从德曼花园到PPH的免费往返巴士。每年，教会也会组织不同性质的宣教队和短宣的机会，让我们能回应和顺服神对列国的心意。

PPH Chinese Assembly was established in 2004, with 5 couples from the English Assembly, who came forward to serve as leaders and early pioneers of the congregation. The church saw the need to care for the following Chinese – speaking groups that God was bringing to our midst, mainly

1. Local seniors, including residents from Teban Garden community and parents of our members,

2. Chinese nationals who came to Singapore as nurses, young students with accompanying families, NUS students, graduates and postgraduates,

3. New migrant families who eventually settled down in Singapore

The congregation eventually grew to its current size with a diverse mixture of young families, seniors and working adults. 

PPH as a church values strong family and marriages, endeavouring to disciple the next generation and to reflect and obey Christ in every aspect of our lives. Members are encouraged to participate in regular or weekly cell group meetings， be part of a regular prayer support group and to be active in serving through various ministry platforms (music, ushering, befriending & visitation), community outreach and mission efforts.

Together as a church we seek to be united in loving God and reaching out to individuals, the community and the nations around us.  Alpha and various outreach efforts during Chinese New Year, Easter, Mid-Autumn and Christmas provide platforms for regular local evangelism and witnessing. Community outreach takes place through CAPing efforts and alongside the two PPH Community Services Centres in Teban Garden at Blk 44 and Blk 50. Free shuttle buses are provided from Teban Garden to and from PPH every Sunday, and during the various outreach programs that we organize at PPH.

Various mission trips are also organized every year as we seek to obey the heart of God for the nations.
